Joined the Secretariat of Keidanren (Japanese Business Federation) in April 1990. After joining the Bureau, she was in charge of tax and finance, corporate accounting, administrative reform, agricultural policy, urban and housing policy, environmental issues, resource and energy issues, CSR, social contribution, support for the Great East Japan Earthquake, consumer policy, and employment labor policy. In April 2020, she was appointed Director General of the Environment and Energy Division, and in April 2021, Director general of the Labor Policy Division.
