Upcoming Session: “Dual Education in Botswana”

Our WIL program was adopted from Germany and its Dual model where students alternate for three months between industry and campus. At the end of the program, students should have completed a two-year learning period, equally divided between industry and on-campus experiences.

        Co-operative Education/Alternance in France

        We define « alternance » (cooperative education) as a work-integrated learning process, that is a principle, a system and a tool to develop work-ready and qualified individuals. « Alternance » aims at the professionalization of both newcomers and long-term employees by linking the professional experience developed in the workplace with the teaching provided in training centers, with the goal of developing complex skills' (Pennaforte & Pougnet, 2012, p.8).

        The DHBW Study Model
